Orders over $250 will receive complementary shipping. Sale items also receive free shipping.

Your package will be sent via Australia Post’s Parcel service. Free shipping is untracked, Regular Parcel Post. If you would like tracking please upgrade to Tracked or Express Post.

Express Post parcels will require a signature on delivery. If you are not home to sign for the parcel it will be diverted to your local post office for collection. A tracking number should be sent to you automatically from Australia Post via email, which you can use to follow your order’s journey on the Australia Post website. If your tracking number does not arrive via email, please contact me so that I can pass it onto you.


Due to insurance restrictions I am unable to ship to the USA or Canada. Should my business grow as I hope it will, this may change in the future!

Rest of the World (excluding North America)
International shipping rates vary from around $25 to $35 depending on your location. The shipping rate will be calculated when you enter your postal or ZIP code before finalising checkout. Signature upon delivery will be required, if it is available through your local postal service.

Your parcel will be sent via Australia Post’s Standard International Post Service. Australia Post’s estimated delivery time for this service is 8+ working days from when I post your parcel (subject to your location, and excluding weekends and public holidays). Your parcel may take longer than this depending on your local postal carrier’s service, and unfortunately I cannot take responsibility for the length of time international shipping may take after I have posted your order and provided you with the tracking number (if tracking is available to your location). Please note that depending on your location and your local postal service, tracking may not be available after your parcel has left Australia.

International Custom Fees and Charges
Any custom charges or fees associated with the delivery and arrival of your parcel are your responsibility.

International Postage Upgrades
The following International Post Upgrades can be arranged for you. Please contact me and I will create a custom listing for your specific purchase and shipping needs.

Express International Post may be available depending on your location, though timeframes cannot be guaranteed.

Insurance may be available at an additional cost (depending on your location). This is usually $9.60 for the first $100 value and an additional $2.50 for each $100 value thereafter.

Eighteen Fifty One cannot take responsibility for any items lost, stolen or damaged while in transit with Australia Post or any other international postal or shipping agency.

Eighteen Fifty One adheres to the consumer rights set out by the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC).

Change of Mind
Due to the nature of my bespoke, handmade process, I will begin cutting and sewing your order within the 24 hours following your purchase.  Therefore, I am unable to offer refunds or exchanges on items after they have been purchased if you

• simply change your mind (this includes changing your mind about the size you have selected),

• decide you do not like the purchase or that you have no use for it,

• discover you can buy the goods or services more cheaply elsewhere, or;

• have damaged the goods by using them in a way that was unreasonable.

Incorrect Fit
I provide extensive sizing information here on my website, and strongly encourage you to take your child’s waist measurement before choosing which size to purchase. You may also make a note of your child’s waist and upper thigh measurement during checkout if you would like me to select the most appropriate size to fit as per the measurements you provide.  Please do not hesitate to contact me if you would like some advice regarding sizing.

Faulty Items
I take great care in checking over the quality and finish of all Eighteen Fifty One items, however, I am only human and if something is amiss please bring it to my attention. You can contact me directly here on the website so that I may arrange a repair for minor, repairable faults.

A replacement or refund may be made available for major faults such as when the item

• has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying it if they’d known about it,

• is unsafe,

• is significantly different from the sample or description, or

• doesn’t do what my business has said it would, or what you asked for and can’t easily be fixed.
